Well they all arrived safely from their transatlantic voyage! One of the main highlights of 2009 and Bermuda’s 400th anniversary was the tall ships race, something I have been looking forward to for some time. Unfortunately as luck would have it the weather hasn’t exactly cooperated, lets just say that trying to find some good light has been tough.
Saturday night I ventured down to the lower ferry dock on Harbour road where a light shower had scared away the other photographers and I got myself all setup. It was perfect, I was all alone and as predicted the sun didn’t go down with out a little flare! For literally 2 mins the sky to the west lit up and I feverishly, but carefully was able to pop off a good rotation on the pano head. Given the weather we have had, I’ll take it!
