I’ve had a bit of a break in the last two weeks, in between weddings. I have used this time to catch up on other sides of the business. My Wedding site was badly neglected and in need of some love so I have just finished building a new site with all of my latest images, check it out: www.gavinhowarth.com (select weddings and portraits).
This week I also have a large roller press and literally a ton of materials arriving, various sizes and types of mounting boards, matts, frames, laminates etc. It has cost me an absolute bomb, but it should be enough inventory for the next year and obviously the press will last a lifetime so hopefully a great investment that will take my product to the next level.
Harbour Nights has been a real drag, three cancellations in a row and then I missed last week being too cautious with the thunderstorms around, this week though we were back out there. There is still plenty of season left and with the amount of inventory I have now should mean that we can see the rest of the year through with no problems.
On another note, save the date! September 24th I have booked the Onion’s Gallery (main gallery) at the Bermuda Society of Arts. This will be my first show and I am hoping to put on an excellent display. More details coming.
In the meantime I will be out and about looking for great new images.
Check out this dude who turned into a star the other evening when the sunset let me down…
