Courtney & Jeremy’s Bermuda Wedding was a blast in short. With dozens of close fiends and family at the beautiful St.Michaels church they had an intimate ceremony followed by great evening at the Tuckers Point Beach Club. Fun was had by all and the night was capped off with the largest moon of the last 100 years making a very brief appearance.

Kim & Adam have a very rapidly approaching wedding day so we were lucky to squeeze in this session given their busy schedule’s! I’m so glad we did though as it was a spectacular evening and they were a joy to work with. I have a pretty great job in general but working with very easy going clients is the icing on the cake!

It’s that time of year and the engagement sessions are getting done fast and furious as wedding season is upon us! Jill & RC lucked out with a stunning evening, we spent well over an hour in and around the Jobson’s Cove area. You really can’t go wrong with such beautiful scenery!

Frances and John have a wedding date fast approaching, a wedding that I’m really looking forward to as it will be in a gorgeous garden setting. This made the beach and hot pink the perfect choice for their engagement pictures! On a quiet evening last week we had the run of Chaplin and Stonehole.

Exploring Casemates – Dockyard Bermuda

Every once in a while I get together for a fun outing with my photo buddies (and good friends), Becky and Zeudi! This time round Becky had arranged us access into the former prison for Bermuda, Casemates. Anyone growing up in Bermuda past the age of 20 will remember the walking around dockyard and seeing the inmates shouting and flapping their arms out of the window, high up in what seemed like an ominous dungeon. After exploring it this last weekend I can see it must have been as grizzly as I imagined, one thing for sure was that they had a hell of a view perched at the highest point in Dockyard!

Ironically built by inmates in 1830′s as barrack’s it was then converted to Bermuda’s official prison in 1951. The stonework and architecture is phenomenal. Walls as think as 3 feet and stunningly detailed stonework, beautifully carved stone staircases with almost every doorway perfectly arched.

The Casemate Barracks is now part of the National Museum of Bermuda

One of my first and still most successful retail location’s is the Craft Market in Dockyard. Over the winter I decided to give it a full makeover. The new display system is a major improvement allowing for lots more product in more sizes and displayed in a much nicer way than in the past.
