Upon completion of individually processing all of your images I will place them in a secure and private online proofing gallery. This state of the art proofing gallery is loaded with many features to ensure you a great user experience while viewing your images online. A comprehensive ‘help’ and ‘getting started’ guide will greet you upon first login.
The gallery is hosted on my private and secure server and is not affiliated with any third parties. All galleries (by default) require an email address be submitted along with a password to enter. With the password you can share the gallery with all of your friends and family where they can view as well as purchase a wide selection of prints and other media. All transactions are through a fully certified and robust e-commerce solution hosted by one of Bermuda’s largest financial institutions. All products are available for shipment anywhere in the world.
Clients with bookings longer than 4 hours will be sent a link to their custom web based slideshow on a private web page with links to their proofing gallery.
Two things are needed in order to secure your wedding date, a deposit and a signed agreement. Until both of those are received the date is not secure. As there are limited spots each year due to availability it’s best to get them in ASAP.
Typically no, but I may consider it on a case by case basis depending on current bookings and time of year. I only take a limited amount of weddings for the year and I want to develop a great relationship with my clients from start to finish. Coverage 4 hours and longer means that I can provide the type of service and coverage to give a well rounded and complete experience for my clients.
If you are a resident then a local bank transfer is the easiest but of course cash and cheque’s are always welcome. Credit cards are also no problem, Mastercard or Visa. If you are overseas and would like to wire the funds contact me for the details.
Pretty much whatever you like. It’s always good to match or coordinate with your partner / Family so that’s certainly something to keep in mind. Generally mid tones are best. Avoid anything too trendy or busy, keep it simple!
The Bermuda sun is harsh, generally I tell couples the later the better. During peak summer it is still light past 8pm so really the choice is yours. Do bear in mind though that at 4pm the sun is still very high and it’s very hot! In the Spring and Autumn months the ceremony can be easily coordinated with a lovely crisp evening in the final hour of daylight!
You sure can, all wedding clients receive an image release granting them permission to make prints and use the images for personal use.
Keeping things simple is key. It’s not always an easy thing to do but it helps so much in the planning and execution. Limiting travel and locations goes a long way to helping the day flow and maximizing my time with you. I have written an article here about the stresses and how to avoid them!
Prints purchased through the online gallery are always going to be superior to typical consumer labs, here’s why:

This varies drastically due to time of year and current workload. As little as 3 weeks to as much as 12 weeks. Rush delivery is available upon request and for an additional fee.
Second shooters become a necessity on big and complicated weddings. When there are multiple locations involved and maximum coverage is needed then a second shooter is perfect to ensure everything is captured for your special day!
