Sandymount is a new wedding venue and is unlike any other venue on this list. It is a residential property recently moved over into the vacation rental market that is also perfect for weddings. Described as a luxury villa it features many unique Bermudian elements not found anywhere.
The property and structures are typical of older Bermuda charm featuring traditional residential construction that has been upgrade over the years. What makes the venue so amazing is the property and it's unique location and vantage. Perched atop a hill and situated on the North Shore it offers almost 360 degree views. Off of the main house is a courtyard and an upper pool deck with still more space from the top verandah, there is literally no part of the property that does not enjoy an ocean view.
The grounds lead down a steep and rugged path to several outcrops and platforms over and through the rocks giving almost infinite picture taking opportunities.
As a venue it is well suited to various sized weddings, the house itself can accommodate a few couples but the property can easily handle large groups for a destination wedding.
